Ultimate Survival Wet Fire Tinder - You've probably never seen anything like this! The perfect accompaniment to any fire starter, WetFire tinder can help you get a blaze going even in a downpour. In fact you will find, these amazing cubes actually burn longer when wet!
WetFire tinder was born from the need for a universal lighting material that was safe, easy-to-carry, and unaffected by wind or water. When outdoors, you never know where you might end up and in what kind of weather. You need something that will light a fire in a rainstorm if needed, but even better are the bonuses of it being non-toxic and extinguishing instantly.
Ultimate Survival Technologies' WetFire tinder is individually packaged in a lightweight solid cube form that can't leak or foul up your other gear. The tinder cubes burn with almost no smoke and can be started even in high winds and nasty weather. In fact, the tinder burns while floating in water, and burns longer when wet.
WetFire tinder burns at over 1300 degrees yet cools almost instantly when you snuff it out. A small pile of shavings is enough to start a campfire, warm your hands, or pre-heat a backpacking stove. You will always want to have some of these cubes available when you go outdoors.

Works like a charm,Verry light weight and can be cut in half for more uses if needed, small spark is all thats needed to get this lit.Jon of Canon City, CO - December, 08 2011:
I bought this along with the “Ultimate Survival Strike Force fire starter”, which I thought worked great. I took a cube of this out with the strike lighter, out to my burn barrel out back. The sun was shining; no wind was blowing, a little snow on the ground and no rain (it is supposed to light in rainy conditions). I tried it as a cube and again in small shavings, I am so glad I was not in a survival situation! I sat there for almost 5 minutes trying to get it to light. After the Carpel Tunnel set in, I had my son grab some stick matches… With a direct fire it would light, nothing spectacular. While it was lit I moved it into some snow in the barrel (flame side up), it went out… Not very impressive…. But again the “Ultimate Survival Strike Force fire starter” worked great. I think that if you ate a bunch of beans and attempting to use your own gas to light tinder, you might have better luck starting a fire than with this.
