Trent Fisher of Roanoke, VA - September, 30 2014:
I have used the original Rage 2-blade broadheads the past six or seven seasons, and have already started using the X-Tremes for the third straight season now. These things are AWESOME. On more than one occasion with this broadhead, I have measured entry wounds right at 3 INCHES in length. Most of the time, I get pass-through shots with my setup shooting 68-70# draw weight. The blade retention shock collar is a huge improvement over the original rubber o-ring and you can reuse them at least once, simply by rotating 90 degrees to use undamaged slots. Blade replacement is also easier with the Allen screws versus the punch pins in the original 2-blade head ferrules. However, like the original Rage broadheads, I wish the X-Tremes came with a practice head for the price you pay for them... regardless, they are worth it.
