My son caught his first caribou about 10 miles south of Anaktuvuk Pass, we were out camping and I knew he had taken two practice shots earlier that morning, but I didn't know he was going to get one, he started off with a red ryder bb gun, to a pelet gun, then a 22, now hes eight n using mommys 223 remington. The guys came back to camp so excited, Richard caught his first Caribou Bull, I ran to him gave him a hug with tears in my eyes, he said Happy Birthday Mom, I was so happy and proud of of young man! Great job to my Son Richard Reid Gordon, I love you very much!
